Prof. Dr. Vishnu Juwono

Chairperson of UI GreenMetric Ranking 

 

Biography

Dr. Vishnu Juwono is the Chairperson of UI GreenMetric, a globally recognized initiative led by Universitas Indonesia to promote sustainability in higher education. In this role, he provides strategic leadership in advancing sustainability benchmarking and fostering international collaboration among universities committed to environmentally responsible and socially conscious campus development.

In addition to his leadership at UI GreenMetric, Dr. Juwono is an associate professor at Universitas Indonesia whose work focuses on public governance, policy, and institutional transformation. With an international academic background and extensive experience in higher education and governance, he brings valuable insight into the role of universities in shaping a more sustainable future.

Hydrogen production challenges & future prospective

Speaker:

Prof. Dr. Talal Yusaf/ Central Queensland University – Australia

Biography:

Professor Talal Yusaf currently hold the position of Chief Business Development Officer at Aviation Australia, Queensland Government Australia and Adjunct Professor at Central Queensland University. Professor Yusaf commenced his role as Pro Vice Chancellor, International and Partnership at Federation University Australia in September 2018, and was the Executive Director (International and Research Partnership) at University of Southern Queensland (2008-2018).

Professor Yusaf holds PhDs in renewable energy and biotechnology and has a strong research background in Alternative Fuel (Biofuel and Hydrogen) and environmental pollution, and mechanical method for water treatment. Professor Yusaf’s academic qualifications include BSc (Hons) UoT Baghdad 1987, PhD1 USQ Queensland Australia and PhD2 National Uni UKM Malaysia 1999. Professor Yusaf has supervised over 50 PhD and Postgraduate students and has written and contributed to over 165 journals and 10 books.

Iraq between Energy Security and Sustainability: towards a National Vision for a Balanced Transition       

Speaker:

Assist. Prof. Dr. Abdulbaqi K. Ali /Oil Ministry Consultant for Energy Affairs – IRAQ

Biography:

Dr. Abdulbaqi K. Ali, an Assistant Professor, has worked as a lecturer at the College of Engineering, Basra University, while also serving as the Energy Affairs Consultant for the Oil Ministry. His role is to guide Iraq towards an energy transition and help achieve the targets set under the Paris Agreement to reduce carbon emissions. Dr. Ali holds a specialization in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Applied Mechanics. He has conducted extensive research in the field of low emissions and electric cars, and has supervised numerous postgraduate Master’s and PhD students.

From document auditing to algorithms, how has intelligent robotic automation changed the game in auditing?

Speaker:

Assist. Prof. Dr. Bassam Said Mohamed Bayoumi – Faculty of Business Administration – Horus University, Egypt

Biography:

Dr. Bassam Said Mohamed Bayoumi is an Assistant Professor at Horus University, Egypt, specializing in Accounting & Auditing and Accounting Information Systems. He holds a Ph.D. in Auditing & Information Systems from Ain Shams University (2023), with research on blockchain applications in auditing. His Master’s degree focused on XBRL language and financial report transparency.

With experience as an Assistant Professor and Assistant Lecturer, he has taught various accounting and auditing courses. Dr. Bassam also has practical experience as an ERP-Financial Consultant, implementing and training on SAP, Odoo, and SQL systems, and has worked as an accountant in different capacities.

As an expert in economics and management, he has authored books on data analysis, business intelligence, digital banking, and governmental digital systems. His research includes the impact of IoT on audit quality and real-time auditing with XBRL-Blockchain integration. He has presented internationally on topics like blockchain applications in smart cities and financial transparency. Dr. Bassam is actively involved in university committees related to postgraduate studies, scientific research, and academic quality
